About Dr. Taranow

Dr. Douglas Taranow is a Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. Prior to being board certified as a Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Taranow completed a rigorous course of training which included not only general surgery, but extensive experience in the care of burn patients and trauma surgery. This background allows him to adapt to the specific needs of his patients with confidence and ease.

Dr. Taranow often treats patients who have been referred by other plastic surgeons or who have been turned away due to the complexity of their cases. His knowledge of wound healing allows him to treat people of every ethnicity and color. Sensitive to the needs of all those who come to him, surgical procedures are tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
